Wow! These are great. There are eight labels to a sheet. They are gummed, so the adhesive is water-activated. We suggest that you use other adhesive to apply these to any surface as they are vintage and we're not sure how effective the glue on the back will be.
Each label has a space for your return address (FROM) and a section for the addressee (TO). At the bottom of each label it reads:
PARCEL POST · CONTENTS: MERCHANDISE · RETURN REQUESTED
Each label measures 4-1/4 by 2-3/4 inches. The paper is perforated for easy separation. Some a have a bit of a strip of paper at the bottom that is also removable by perforation. The entire sheet measures about 8-1/2 by 11 inches.

What a wonderful wedding, engagement or anniversary gift! Our Praying couple nicho features a man on one side and a woman on the other. Each is on bended knee with hands and faces uplifted toward the center cross. If you prefer a less religious interpretation, you can cut the cross off the top with tin snips, or bend it backwards so that it doesn't show.

Sporting a yellow hat, our little hand carved Day of the Dead Gato (Kitty) is made entirely out of wood by hand and then hand painted.
Just like the rest of our Day of the Dead Figurines, each of these Muertos is hand made and painted by traditional artisans in Mexico. S/he measures about 2-1/2 to 3 inches high and has a long curly tail and fashionable yellow sombrero.

Mini Day of the Dead Figure - Marilyn
Not quite 2-1/2 to 3 inches high, this Posada-like Day of the Dead character skeleton is made of the traditional plaster or papier mâché.
We were just delighted when we received this delightful characterization of Marilyn Monroe in her famous Seven Year Itch pose - when her skirt was blown about her as she stood over an exhaust fan!
Each Marilyn is a bit different because she is hand-sculpted and hand painted. Some of our Marilyns wear earrings and others prefer the simpler look. And her dresses vary slightly as well. Add her to your own special nicho or retablo. Marilyn is about 3 to 3-1/2 inches tall.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this book. We originally bought it as a package deal with another book. This story was slimmer and so, picked it up first. We suggest, just as the review from Publishers Weekly indicates:

We at SilverCrow are big time fans of anything made with chenille pipe cleaners (aka chenille stems). Grandfathers used to clean their pipes with these and we'd scarf a few to make little ornaments of our won.
These old fashioned bunny ornaments are in distress (oops! we mean they've been distressed) - to look so vintage! Each one measures about 4-inches high, but, because they are bendable - you might choose to pose them in a different positions! Each carries a a little carrot (probably trying to imitate that famous Bugs!)
The bunnies' heads are made of a reproduction scrap that has been cut neatly to resemble the Victorian scraps of old.

Vintage Chenille Skunk
This little fellow measures about 3 inches long. With a stripe down his spine and a little cord to attach him to a package, you'll notice that the feel of this little ornament is quite different from newer chenille animals. The Zenith 595 works with Art. 115 Staples (standard sized staples) and presents exceptional characteristics such as the easy loading system - from the top, without the extractable spring-action pusher. So, there are no parts to lose!

By the running meter - the yARTstick presents, in four-color prints, highlights of 2,000 years of painting history. It allows you to tell at a glance that though the themes have barely changed, their manifestations certainly have. This wooden ruler features illustrations and a measuring stick in centimeters and millimeters.
On the yARTstick, the history of painting of the last 2000 years is depicted in 58 selected pictures. The selection process has yielded a mixture of world famous as well as lesser known motifs, which together express the most important themes, techniques and temperaments. The line of images illustrates the development through the centuries: From Roman funeral art and mosaics in the first centuries AD, through works of Islamic, Chinese and Mayan art, into the Renaissance and on to the modern era. Details of eyes and hands are recurring motifs throughout the two millenniums.
On one side of the yARTstick, folding ruler are the pictures. On the flip side, where the 2,000 years of painting history are divided into 2000 mm, the individual works of art are placed in their historical context and referenced according to the period and the artist, the title of the work, the technique used, the year of the work's creation and the country of origin. If the work is immobile, the city where it is located is also named.

Cascarones - Traditional Confetti Eggs
These bright and cheerful confetti eggs are the real thing! They are washed (the egg removed) and dyed - and then filled with confetti. The opening is then covered with tissue paper! Tradition has it that they should be broken on the heads of friends and family, but we don't recommend this.
These are traditionally used in Mexican celebrations. Be sure not to eat these as they are meant only for fun.
Ours are packaged in dozen egg boxes, however, as they are delicate, we cannot guarantee that they will all be perfect upon arrival. We pack them safely, so we expect that most, if not all, will survive the trip.
These cascarones are REAL EGGS that have been washed, dyed and filled with confetti. Please be careful when using them. Cascarones are NOT EDIBLE. Wash hands after use. Not for children under 10.
