Opening Prayer Wheel Bead
More Beads
More Amulets, Talismans, Medals, etc.
Enscripted with OM MANI PADME HUM, the Tibetan Prayer for Universal Peace, our wearable brass and copper prayer-wheel is actually a bead that opens to reveal printed prayer. Add an additional petition of your own and close the bead, add it to a necklace or amulet. The stringing holes go straight through the bead and the rolled prayer, for a very special keepsake.
This larger bead is a wonderful centerpiece for a necklace whether you string it directly side to side or create a focal point by creating a tassel or special hanging pendant from it.
Each bead is different as all are hand made, but the typical size is 2 inches long by 1 inch in diameter.

Medusa Bead
More Art Doll Supplies
In Greek mythology, Medusa (Μέδουσα) is known as a guardian or protectress. It has been said that Medusa was originally a beautiful nymph, wanted by many men, until she was raped by Poseidon in Athena's temple. And, Athena transformed Medusa's beautiful hair to serpents and she made her face so terrible to behold that the mere sight of it would turn those who gazed upon her into stone.
Medusa has, over time, represented both beauty and the grotesque at once. She has come to represent women's struggle against violence and many modern myths have been created about her.
Our Medusa bead measures 3/4 long and 5/16 wide, with a generous opening for your cord or wire from top to bottom - making her perfect for art dolls.

Easter Island Moai Bead
Easter Island is one of the foremost archaeological sites in the world, but few have truly visited. The small island just off the coast of Chile boasts one of the most amazing wonders - the enormous moai statues. They sit on platforms that are dispersed at almost a half-mile apart for almost the entirety of of the coast's perimeter - and there are many more, that are not quite complete throughout the island. There are statues of many sizes and weights, but the average is about 14-1/2 feet tall, weighing over 13 tons.
Our little beads are a lot lighter and measure about 1/2 inch wide than the statues they picture. There are two holes for stringing that travel through the bead from left to right.
