This beautiful heavy brass candelabra is from a 1913 Lutheran Church in Donora, Pennsylvania. It measures about 15 inches high by 11-1/2 inches wide and weighs just over 7 pounds! The three candle cups hold standard tapers.

This piece is in original condition. However, we're pretty sure that it was polished by the parishioners during its tenure at the Church. Each piece features ornate decoration and engraving on the base. Many were donated by members of the church and organizations. The engraving bears honor to these donors.

Because each of the candelabra were used regularly in the church for services and special occasions, there are some signs of wear including some scratches and occasional minor dents, all of which add to the glory of a vintage piece. Although we do not have documentation of the original donation date, they appear to be from the early part of the 20th century, probably from the 1920s or 1930s.

Antique Marble Baptismal Font

This wonderful antique Marble Baptismal Font is from the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Donora, Pennsylvania. It is from the lovely 1913 church situated in a small Western Pennsylvania town. This Font was donated by the Women's Missionary Society in 1927. The carving at the base was done by hand by a master carver. The piece includes the oak cover that boasts a heave bronze cross as well.

The bowl measures 15 inches in diameter - the inside is about 9 inches in diameter and is about 5 inches deep. Without the cover, the bowl measures about 9 inches. The pedestal is separate from the bowl. The base of the pedestal is 6 inches high and 12 inches square. Including the base, the entire height of the pedestal is 28 inches (not including the bowl). The cross on the top of the cover measures 9 inches high and, with the oak cover base, it is a total of 10 inches high.

This is  a very special piece that can double as a holy water font in a large foyer. Although meant as a baptismal font, we believe that this would make a stunning statement in that special room, even if used other than for its intended purpose - perhaps for an elegant fern base.

This gorgeous shelf mounts easily on a wall (but it's heavy so mount it well!) From bottom to top it measures 33 inches. It is 17 inches wide. Each of the 2 shelves is 14 inches deep. An indentation on the top shelf allows you to place something that needs stabilization without, such as a dish or other display item. The cross on top is removable, but we think it gorgeous as is.

The shelf is in original condition - without refinishing. The patina is superb. There are some minor blemishes from normal usage. The shelf is from a 1913 Lutheran Church in Donora, Pennsylvania. We have seen similar shelves sell for over $600.00.
