Saint Monica was born in 322 AD and raised in a Christian family. Unfortunately, as was tradition in those times, she was given away in marriage by her parents. Unfortunately, her family did not choose well for her. She was married to a pagan named Patricius, who was quite ill-tempered and certainly adulterous.
St. Monica was the mother of two, one of whom is Saint Augustine. She prayed constantly for her husband and her wayward son, Augustine, who lived quite a wild life, according to his writings, before his conversion. Her prayers were answered for them both, as her Patricius converted on his deathbed.
Our medal is made of silvery metal in Italy. Two medals are shown to illustrate front and back.

The Santisima Muerte is both loved and feared. Some evil factions have adopted La Santisima as their saint, just as many others have abused the holy saints throughout the ages. La Santa Muerte, as she is also called, is also honored and revered as the Saintly Death, or one who can help you with your lost love.
This little packet, or amuleto, contains curandero oil a charm and coin on a closed pouch as well as a prayer card, in Spanish only and a selection of natural stones. Most of the packages are the same, only the the pouch color and some of the stones vary in color. The pouches are generally black or white, but sometimes arrive in other colors. Lover's Quarrel Frame
Photography was once reserved only for the affluent...a gallery of framed faces in the foyer was a most prestigious domestic attribute. Given the exorbitant cost of portrait photography in the late 1800s, it was unthinkable to discard a valuable photograph due to a broken relationship.
Rather, the undesirable subject would simply be folded back or scissored off. The slender frame which found the height of its popularity after 1910, later came to be known as a Dear John Frame after t he war era, thus accommodating the lonely heart beautifully!

Illustrator dug Nap is famous for his bold style evoking a contemporary burst of living out loud fun!
