Very Cool Recycled Messenger Bag

This is our favorite bag for toting knitting, magazines and whatever else we might need for "waiting room" activities! Made of durable, lightweight, and colorful recycled rice bags from Vietnam, these are functional, funky and fun - all at once.

The rice bags are made reinforced soft plastic. These have been reclaimed and thoroughly washed. Each bag is completely handmade, so please allow for some variation. Designs and text may vary, but most picture animals from pigs to ducks, dragons to fish. The colors are all different but in a range as those pictured.

Three bags are pictured above for illustration only. The one on the right shows the great pocked on the back of each bag. Bags measure about 13-1/2 inches wide and tall with a 3 to 3-1/2 inch side gusset. There is a long and wide shoulder strap that you can adjust to suit your comfort and style. Bags close with a full-size flap that is secured with velcro. There's also an inside zipper pocket.

Perfect for any season, and a stylish way to go green, we're sure you'll get plenty of great comments when you carry this bag.

Our little magic wallet and card case from Kikkerland is faux patent (shiny) crocodile and lots of fun! Place an ID on the outside in the windowed slot for easy access (please be careful to not leave this out with your address on it in a public place). On the back, there are 2 more card slots for your credit cards, business cards, or such.

But the fun comes when you open it. The inside of the wallet easily holds folded money or other flat things with secure, elastic straps that allow for quick flipping without slipping! The fun comes when you flip the wallet open. Open one side and your money is under the stretchy X. Open from the reverse side, and the same money (no kidding!) is under the straight elastics! It measures 3 by 4-1/4 inches. What fun!

Sunny Candy Wrapper Purse

This cool bag is made from recycled candy and food wrappers! Each one is unique as they are all handmade. It is made with the same technique that children once used to weave chewing gum wrappers in to long chains. But, don't worry, your bag is much sturdier because the waterproof wrapper is wrapped around a strip of recycled paper before it is folded. Our Sunny bag is made of interwoven yellow and silver wrappers. The yellow ones get their pattern from the writing on the bag!

Even the handle is made from wrappers! The bag measures about 8 inches from side to side, almost 5 inches high and about 1-1/2 inches deep. The strap is about 15 inches long, allowing the handle an 8 inch opening for carrying by hand or slipping tightly under your arm.

This wonderful Peruvian-style Drawstring Pouches measures 3 by 5 inches. This detail-woven pouch is unique and is sure to stand out from other pouches. Each pouches is made in a remote mountain village deep inside China. The people of the village are using traditional skills to support their small village. Producing these pouches is the villages only method of income. Each family is paid per pouch produced. There is no factory - everyone works at home.

Hindu Gods-Goddesses zipper Bag

The very first time we saw these little zipper bags, we knew we had to offer them to SilverCrow customers. The coated viscose is printed with vibrantly colored renderings of Hindu Gods and Goddesses.

They are all hand-made by artisans, so each is different. Colors and images vary tremendously. But each is a work of art in itself.

The fabric is no other - it is waterproof. However, because it has a standard zipper, it is not leak proof. Equally appropriate as a gift sack, change purse or treasure pouch, you'll want several of these little bags. At approximately 3-1/4 inches by 3-1/2 inches, you'll find them very versatile.
