Vintage Tin Litho Ring - Girl on a Blackbird

This delightful little child's ring hails from the 1950s. It measures 3/4 inch in diameter and boasts the vibrant colors the defined the 1950s Tin Lithograph novelty items.

It is marked Japan on the side and adjusts (you can see from the inset that the back is open). We are told that this was supposed to be Mother Goose, but the manufacturer was a little off the mark when choosing the correct bird - and were we ever delighted! We'll take a blackbird any day, of course!

This enchanting piece is old store stock and is from an original carnival supply distributor!
