We love crepe paper - and not just for streamers. Make bows and flowers, cover nut cups, make ornaments. The possibilities are endless.

And, on top of that, this is VINTAGE crepe. The psychedelic colors give away the age as the late 1960s or early 1970s. This crepe roll was produced by the Dennison company, well known for their home arts papers and other supplies for decades. Dennison has since merged with Avery office products to become Avery Dennison. So new quality Dennison craft and art products are no longer available.

The striped roll features slanted vertical stripes in blue, deep pink, tan, and green. Each roll measures 2 1/8 inch by 25 feet (636 square inches). Just imagine a sixties or seventies party with favors made from this crepe! It originally sold for 25¢ cents a roll and is in very good condition. The Dennison sticker remains on each roll, but is a little loose on some of the rolls we have in stock. There is some modest wear (from storage) on the outside of the roll, but that makes it even more appropriate for your vintage projects!

Vintage Golden Lametta Metal Garland

We are so very delighted to offer this wondrous old golden garland! It was made in Germany in the early 20th century and is a sight to behold! The 1-inch wide tinsel is made of real metal and attached to a cotton string through the center. The string is wrapped with a very thin wire, which makes it easy to model the garland. This is wonderful for making vintage style holiday ornaments for for using on a feather tree.

Each garland measures over 6 feet long, and some are longer than others. These are pre-made to size and can be tied together if you buy more than one!

This tiny multi-color triangular papel picado is enchanting! Each sheet measures a diminutive 2 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches long. The 10 sheet strand measures 36 inches long.

Papel Picado is a traditional art form that is handmade by artisans from Mexico. The brightly colored tissue is hand cut using chisels and a top pattern as a guide. Tissue was actually developed in China and came to the New World through Europe. The Mexican people adopted the tissue for their paper cutting - they had been using hand made paper for the cuttings for generations. Now the thin tissue brings a whole new dimension to the art, allowing the breeze to create an even more festive mood with the lightweight paper!

Melancholy Crow Garland

This vintage reproduction garland was first produced in 1954 by the Beistle company - famous for paper decorations. Of course, it's perfect for Hallowe'en and any other ghoulish celebration, but, being crow-lovers ourselves, this has become a staple decoration in our office!

The round medallions measure 8 inches in diameter - the entire length of the garland is 54 inches.
