Allegheny West Photogravure by Mary Sham

You need:

• Stamp - Allegheny West 4 (H1985)

• Walnut Drawing Ink (2.6 oz. bottle)

• Black Permanent Ink Pad

• Dark Brown Cardstock

• White Cardstock

• Black Cardstock

• White Gesso (8 oz. bottle)

• Black Extra Fine Line Sharpie Permanent Ink Marker

• Fiskars Majestic Photo Punch

• Large Artist's brush

1. With a large artist's brush, swipe a piece of dark brown cardstock with White Gesso. Use free and natural movements.

2. Stamp house ALLEGHENY WEST 4 on the gesso-ed with black permanent ink.

3. [optional] Touch up any lines with a Black Extra-Fine Line Sharpie Marker..

4. Swipe Walnut Drawing Ink over the stamped ALLEGHENY WEST 4. Use broad strokes.

5. Cut a piece of white cardstock a bit bigger than the dark brown card.

6. Punch the four corners of the white card with a Fiskars Majestic Corner Photo Punch.

7. Insert the dark brown card into the photo holder corners.

8. Layer the white card onto a larger piece of black cardstock.
