Bird Cut & Use Stencils
More Stencils & Stencil Art
More Birds (Especially Crows!)
Bird designs are among the most popular and widely used designs by artists and craftsmen. Ed Sibbett, Jr., well-known artist and craftsman, has created this elegant and practical collection of decorative birds: eagles, parrots, toucans, ducks, geese, swans and numerous common songbirds, most of which are perched on attractive foliage or branches. Although not identified specifically, we are pretty sure that there is a corbus (crow, raven or blackbird) in this collection. Stylistically, the 54 designs range from quite naturalistic to highly stylized, some with a distinct Asian flavor are also to be found here.
Printed on one side of a page on heavy manila paper, these stencils can be used again and again to decorate clothing, trays, walls, floors, furniture, leather, tin and almost any other surface. Complete instructions and a list of the necessary materials and tools are given in the introduction. The materials needed are inexpensive and easy to find in most well-stocked hardware, discount and art-supply stores, while the stenciling method is easily mastered and projects quickly completed.
There are 54 stencil designs printed on durable paper on one side of a page only, so they are easily cut out. This 64-page soft cover book is meant to be cut apart. It measures 8-1/4 by 11 inches.
