This interesting pendant has been created from a miniaturized version of an early black and white photograph - probably from the 1930s or 1940s. Although not as advertised as nudity is in today's world, images like this were much more available back then.
The image has been set in sterling silver and the image has been set nicely in resin. The pendant measures 1-1/8 inch high (without the hanging loop or bail). The bail and loop add an additional 3/8 inch. It is 5/8 inch wide.
While this image is risqué for its time - and it still is a bit naughty even for today - the photograph was tastefully shot with fine composition.

This photographic bead features a partial image of the New York City skyline before that fateful September Eleventh. It would be a nice addition to a remembrance assemblage - whether it be in the form of a piece of jewelry, memory box or shrine.
This photographic portrait is bordered in silvery metal in the form of a bead. It measures about 1/2 inch wide. There are two holes for stringing that travel through the bead from left to right.

Well, even Oprah tried it, so we guess pole dancing isn't as taboo as it once was. Our Day of the Dead Pole Dancer represents that sensual part of all of us.
All of our Day of the Dead figures are made by traditional artisans and are hand sculpted and painted by traditional Mexican artisans. Each of these Muertas measures about 3 inches high, but the pole may make it larger. As you can see in the illustration, the Muertas are different parts of the dance, and so far, we've not received any that was like another we have! So, please let SilverCrow choose one for you!

We originally bought these cool little nichos thinking that we could easily remove the nudie photo. Well, it's not as easy as it seems. If you are clever, you can bend the edges of the frame and remove the photo and the glass and replace it. If you're not clever, then you might just want to use this as a pendant or in your artwork or in a wall display.
Each one is different as they are all hand made. The nudie photo may differ as well. The frame measures a little over 1-1/2 inch wide by 2-1/4 inch high. The concha on top adds an additional inch (so the total height is about 3-1/4.
There is a hanging loop on the back for your convenience.

Distributed by Marcus & Wiesen of New York, a company from New York, still today in the business of making cut and sew lingerie and undergarments, this package originally sold for 15¢, but could be worth a fortune when a repair was needed quickly!

Illustrator dug Nap is famous for his bold style evoking a contemporary burst of living out loud fun! Admittedly slightly twisted, dug creates cards with humorous sayings and renders them with a beautiful, painterly technique. His brushstrokes are worthy of his 16th century muse Lucas Cranach (for whom he named is cat), dug's work is artistically sophisticated and then just plain fun!

Vintage 1950s Nudie Spy Glass - MATURE WARNING
Spyglasses like these were quite popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Look through one just as you would a real spy glass and voilà - a risqué picture of a young lady. Yes, it's a nudie shot, so these are not for the faint of heart! We have an assortment poses - from reclining, to sitting, to exercising and more, but can't promise any one. The pictures are representative of the nudie calendars found in many the auto garage, army barracks and other manly retreats.
Also known as nudie viewers and pocket peep shows, these little "glasses" are really plastic and measure about 1-1/8 inch long and and a bit over 1/4 inch in diameter at the widest point. Just look in the smaller end and point the other end toward a light source to see the photo inside.
These may seem a bit pricey, but they are quite rare - society was much less open to such things in those days. So, if caught, the gentleman or boy would toss such tiny items in the trash. Others ended up broken or ignored. We are very lucky to have found them! These are unused store stock.
Several are shown for variation. Plastic colors may vary also.

Edward Weston was a photographer before his time! His elegant photos, mostly in black and white are renowned for their simple complexity. His critics insist that he produced far too many photos and was just lucky to have a few good shots. Those good shots were surely superb. He was the inspiration for many of today's black and white photographers.
This is a classic Weston nude on a beautiful art print postcard, suitable for framing.
