This is the really neat old-fashioned, original glitter that was used for holiday decorations of all types since the end of the 19th century. The white form of mica glitter is usually used to imitate snow or to add an iridescent glittery effect. We can only imagine what you might be able to create with ORANGE MICA!
Mix mica with paint, ink, glue, any artistic media. Sprinkle it on your holiday decorations. Grind it. Mix it with a tiny amount of any powdered pigment (including the cost-effective tempera pigment) to give it color. Experiment. Have fun!
This wonderful mica comes packaged in a convenient zipper bag in an old-timey box that measures 4-5/8 by 1-1/2 by 6 inches. So, you'll have plenty for lots of projects. For Hallowe'en other projects with a harvest theme, our Orange Mica might be just perfect!

The want (and need) for more liberal thought and a move for greater social acceptance of all British started despite the seemingly unmovable morés at the time.
The Edwardian Period was also known as the Belle Époque (Beautiful Era), a time for elegant masquerade balls with gorgeous gowns and absurd masks such as this, our Jester Cigarette Smoker.

SilverCrow offers our black Krausbouillion in generous 1/2-ounce packages. Although silver Krausbouillion is the traditional color used in most older European ornaments, we think that you'll be able to fashion some wonderful newer ornaments with this fun black crinkle wire, too!
The original Krausbouillion is made in Germany and Austria. Ours is made by a modernized process that plates copper wire, so it is less expensive. It's quite beautiful and lends old world elegance to any project.

Black Dresden Star Ornament Base

This wonderful heavy-weight black Dresden base is just what you need to create old-fashioned paper ornaments for Hallowe'en, a Black-and-White Masquerade Ball or any other occasion. Add a little scrap picture with a dab of glue to the center (or even a Victorian-style sticker), maybe a few pieces of angel hair or krausbouillion and you'll create a brand new heirloom!
The base of the ornament measures about 3-1/4 inches in diameter (from one point to the opposite). The loop on top is for hanging and adds about 1/4 inch more. This striking Dresden is black on both sides and is weighty enough to be the base for a complex design.
The embossing on these reliefs is superb. These are made in the same fashion as they have been for many, many decades! Some trimming is necessary, just as it was for the originals.

These really cool rubbery plastic bat masks hail from the mid-1960s when Batman was really popular due to the kitschy Batman television show.
These old-store stock masks are really little rubbery bats with flexible wings. Eye holes in the wings enable you to see. You wear the little bats by hooking the attached rubber bands around your ears. Even the rubber bands are vintage! The masks themselves are really sturdy, but the rubber bands may break. The bands can easily be replaced with new ones - or you can add ties instead.
