For collectors and embroiders and framers alike, here we have a grouping of vintage embroidery hoops.

Now, some are vintag-er than others as you can see from the photos. In fact, several wooden hoops are from the early 1900s. You'll see that the hoops made cherished treasures and show some wear. Take a look at the wraps on the sides of 2 of them - especially one of the 4-inch wooden ones, with a hand-sewn stabilizing wrap. The embroiderer needed a tighter close and added such for support.

Some are wooden and others metal (probably steel). Take a look at the tightening screws on some of them - old fashioned for sure. And, all of the metal hoops feature cork on the inner hoop for easier fabric adjustment.

This is a group of 9 hoops - some of these are priced elsewhere for $16 each, or even more.
