Antiqued Golden Messianic Star Jesus Star Charm / Pendant

The blending of the Judaic and Christian beliefs was recognized as Messianic Judaism beginning in the early 1960s. This tradition is much older than that.

There is controversy over the blending movement of both traditions (syncretic assimilation) and is not recognized by many Jews or Christians. This blending is a melding of both religions - Jesus and the Star of David.

The lovely charm / medal is made to resemble hammered bronze, but are made of lead and cadmium free pewter with antique gold plating. The antiquing lends a muted tone.

The charm measures 3/4 inch high including the loop and  9/16 inch wide.
