The revered Monkey King is reproduced here as a small charm. He is considered in many cultures as the symbol of strength and protection and cunning. He is sometimes thought to have been the ancestor of the Tibetan people. His prowess as a hero is celebrated in Thailand and India as well.

The charm or small pendant measures about 1 inch high. The bail is in the back and he stands on his own, so you might choose to use him as a little statue as well.

He is made of pewter. The golden monkey is pewter and plated with brass. He appears to be antiqued, however this may be a patina from age as each of the charms is old Central Casting stock.
