Born in Nuremberg in 1471, Albert (aka Albrecht) Dürer spent most of his life there. His only expeditions were to Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. Not only was Dürer a great artist, but also an art theorist and renowned thinker.
The accuracy of his works in woodcut as well as in peinture and drawing are hardly surpassed. This mini collection of his works includes self-portraiture as well as his famous woodcut, Adam and Eve, among others.
