I was adopted many years ago when I was 5 days old. From the time I can remember as a toddler, I knew that I was adopted and how cherished I was by my parents and grandparents. How lucky can one person be. The legal date of my adoption was exactly 6 months after the day I was born. Mommy and Daddy were fortunate enough to be able to schedule the hearing on the first legal day. This later date became our special day, more important than my birthday - of course.

I have never sought out the birth parents. I am thankful to them for giving me a most wonderful life. I know that others feel differently about this. I celebrate their search and pray for an auspicious result.
