This little jug is finished without a glaze on the outside, but high-fired for strength. Without the glaze, it is ready for any kind of artwork you might conjure: paint it, stamp it, age it further with Walnut Ink,...the possibilities are infinite. Of course, the high-fire finish (natural white with brown accents) is stunning with no alteration!
Our jug pendants are glazed on the inside to hold liquids. They are not meant for food or drink contents, so, you might add an essential oil, or some earth from a special place for safekeeping.
Although meant to be worn as pendants, we think these little vessels would be perfect for any assemblage, shrine or collage project you might be considering.
