Hollywood Dollies is a series of paper cutout doll sheets of famous motion picture stars in original costumes from movies. This sheet features the sweet star of the silent screen, Colleen Moore.

Colleen Moore started her acting career in Chicago, which at one time was the center of the motion picture industry. Not only was she popular as a silent film star, but later in life, Miss Moore (who was actually married four times!) created a very special and popular dollhouse and later wrote a book entitled, How Women Can Make Money in the Stock Market. 

At the height of her career, she was earning $12,500 (well over $200,000 today) a week - in the early 20th century. Quite the astute investor, she remained wealthy her entire life.

* B. Shackman was a fantastic novelty store and supplier beginning as a pushcart in 1898 in New York City. Sadly the firm closed up shop sometime around 2018.
