Our Mala Counters are made of red string and white metal counter beads and colorful feathered string tassels are also white metal with turquoise colored stones (we are not sure if these are true turquoise. They measure about 6 inches long (including the tassels).
These are hand made, so please allow for the variation that makes such special just for you. All are similar and true to the photo - just not exactly alike.
Mala Counters are used to tally the mantras that you have recited. Mala counters sit between your mala beads and will assist you in keeping track of your mantras. Loop it around your mala prayer beads at the point that you have made around your prayer beads with your recited mantras so that you can resume where you left off.
The vajra on one end and the bell on the others assist in fulfilling the highest tantra samaya. It is suggested that you hold the vajra and bell as you pray or chant.
