Day of the Dead Gentleman on Bended Knee

On bended knee, we see this ceramic Day of the Dead gentleman praying or, perhaps, asking to marry him.

He is ceramic rather than being hand formed, so he is a bit more elegant than usual. Standing only about 2-1/4 inches tall, he is smiling and ready for your display, nicho or retablo.

He has been hand painted and hand fired and was made in Cusco, Peru - famous for such wonderful glazed pottery. So, his simple form is elegantly representative of the classic Day of the Dead Muertos. His trousers are not glazed.
