Socrates has come to be known as one of the wisest philosophers of all time. Interestingly enough, he left few writings - most of what we know of him has come to us through his most famous student, Plato.
He is famous for Socratic Method, the use of a series of purposeful questions posed to students, used to exact not only answers, but the implications of those answers. He is also known for his famous trial and subsequent death by hemlock.
Each card comes with a sticker sheet filled with traditional messages like Happy Birthday and Thank You, but more exciting are the additional sticker quotes attributed to Socrates himself, such as:
