Elegant Tan Greyhound Vintage Silhouette

This striking hand-cut silhouette cut in the traditional scherenschnitte styles. The artist created it as an Italian greyhound. But, the silhouette can easily represent a retired racing greyhound or a whippet.

So nice for those of us who are parents of these special dogs.

This is not a print - the image was cut freehand directly out of the tan paper - without a drawing! - and then mounted on the white background. Such art is called scherenschnitte.

Signed ©2004, but we cannot read the signature. It does show its age but is in nice condition. There is a small bend in the upper left corner, that will be hidden once the picture is framed.

Packaged in acid free and lignin free archival safe crystal-clear plastic. We are not sure of the archival quality of the image or backing. Once you remove it from the plastic, it will fit in standard frame.
