Fancy Cigar Box - Oliva

We fell in love with this cigar box, not only because of the beautiful finish to the wood but also for the lovely unique shape to the box. The best I can describe it in words would be to say that if you faced the hinges to the left, it looks like a printed capital D, with the exception that the top and bottom of the D are more rounded. 

Atop the lid in a fancy script it reads:

A factory seal sticker can still be located on the outside of the box, though it of course was cut when the cigars were sold.

On the bottom:

The ink has faded on part of the letter D and all of the letter E in the word "MADE." An inspection sticker is located below printing.

The outer dimensions of the box measure 7-1/8 inches from front to back by 9-1/2 inches wide by 2-7/8 inches high. The inner compartment measures 4/-7/8 inches from front to back by 6-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches high (with about an addition 1/2 inch when closed).
