Raphael and Ernestine Tuck owned a shop in London. He was the artist; she the businesswoman. They produced many memorable books, Victorian Scraps and other paper products. Originally from Prussia, they migrated to England and opened their shop in 1866.
This fine little board book is a reproduction of a "Father Tuck" original. Created by B Shackman and Company in 2000, but is no longer available except from antiquarian and rare book shops.
Our panorama board book opens like a Jacob's Ladder, folding out, with illustrations on either side.
It measures 6 inches by 4 inches when folded together.
