Saint Lazarus has long been known as the Patron Saint of the Sick, particularly of those sick with leprosy. He has represented the poor and the sick in literature, both religious and secular. Our little golden crutch charm represents his suffering, as he was often pictured with a single crutch.
It measures about 1-1/4 inch high and about 3/8 inch at its widest. There is no loop, so to use it, you can attach a loop or cord through the top opening of the crutch. This allows it to lie at an angle, the position it is in when walking.
