San Cipriano was once a magician himself, so he is sometimes known as the Patron Saint of Magic, and magic is attributed to him in many folk religions.
He is best known for his patronage of Abused Children.
Our small statue is primitive in style and was hand painted by the well-known Mexican folk religion artist, Bryant "Eduardo" Coleman. He was our close friend and introduced us to the world of Curanderismo - the practice of magical healing. Alas, we lost Eduardo in June of 2009: a good friend who is sorely missed.
