What an interesting piece of folk art this is! Made of tin, in the Mexican tradition,
this ornament features a likeness of Frida Kahlo as an angel. Her wings are made of hands
outstretched, yet protecting her at once. Her bodice is three-dimensional and features
a bustier as typical of her own paintings. As a piece of wall artwork, this would be
quite attractive. But, because of its size, it makes a great ornament as well.
It is designed with a built-in hanger on the back that can be used as is, or bent up
carefully for hanging in a different fashion.
This very special piece has been created by traditional tin artisans in Mexico and hand
crafted and painted there as well. The the bodice of Frida's dress varies in color.
Each one measures approximately 5-3/8 inches high by 4-3/8 inches wide. Please
