Created in the tradition of tinsmiths through the centuries, our metal outlet cover plate can add that special finishing touch to any southwest, rustic or Spanish colonial décor. Made from natural tin, and then aged to a gorgeous coppery brown, in the same tradition as from long ago, you might even consider embellishing and painting one for the perfect look. The scallop and flower design is traditional and modern at once.
We have also used these as background plates for altered art and collage.
The repoussée pounded patterning is elegant and simple at the same time. The entire piece measures 4-3/4 inches by 3-1/4 inches.
