DESCRIPTION

Today, it seems, you cannot go anywhere or do anything without encountering a warning label of some form. Now you can add your own warning label to your artwork with our most recently found treasure.

Our vintage 1950s (or earlier) pharmaceutical warning label is just the thing to add an aura of danger to your current project. Nothing says danger like a warning label, and nothing screams excitement like a warning label.

Found in any pharmacy or drug store, these labels were used to warn the prescribed patient of the perils of sharing the medicine. The label measures 1/2 inch high by 1-1/2 inch wide. It is white with green capital letters reading:

IT IS A CRIME TO TRANSFER THE
DRUG TO ANY PERSON OTHER
THAN THE PATIENT

These are gummed seals, so they must be moistened before using. While they may work if you were to lick the back of the label, we highly recommend against it as we do not know where they have been. We suggest that you use a sponge or moistener as these are vintage. Some may require a touch of paste or glue to help them stay put.
