J. Herbin is the oldest name in current production of fountain pen inks in the world. J. Herbin created La Perle des Encres (the pearl, or jewel, of inks) at his shop on the Rue des Fosse Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700.
Perfect for fountain pens, fountain roller ball pens and glass pens, this water-based ink is non-toxic and pH neutral, lightfast. It flows smoothly and is fast drying. You'll also love to use this special ink as a wash with any of your assorted brushes.
SilverCrow is delighted to bring this wonderful ink to you. Blue Myosotis Ink is supposedly erasable, but we have not tried it. The color has the slightest nuance of periwinkle. The 10 ml bottle will provide you with a substantial sampling of ink, lasting for many letters, calligraphs and other projects.
Once upon a time, a knight and his lady were taking a walk along a river. He bent over to pick a flower but lost his balance. Under the weight of his armor, he fell into the river and drowned. As he was sinking, his last words were, "Forget me not."
And so the myosotis, while a humble flower, became the symbol of love's remembrance forever.
