Large Vintage Foiled Happy New Year Die Cut Dresden in 3 Colors

Way back in the 1940s, celebration souvenirs were quite different than they are today. Certainly these great Dresden die-cuts were.

Probably used to decorate party hats - glued to tied on - these die cut foil-laminated cardboard HAPPY NEW YEAR cut outs are in good never used (new old stock) condition. Due to the age, you'll find some fading or foxing, but, as you know, we here at SilverCrow love patinas!

Great for collectors, of course. But, we do like the idea of decorating party hats - maybe add a few feathers to top off your creation. How about using them for table decorations or for creating holiday greeting cards.

They were made in Japan (they are stamped as such on the back). And they measure approximately 2-1/2 inches tall by 5-1/2 inches wide.

These are so special - new to us - traditional for everyone.
