At the center of this stunning medal, is Jesus on a crucifix with two adoring angels, one on either side. In front of Jesus is Mary, his mother. They are all praying for the souls in purgatory, who are represented at the bottom of the medal.
This medal honors the Souls in Purgatory (Las Animas del Purgatoria).
On the reverse, it reads:
