DESCRIPTION

This gorgeous set of embroidered pieces was made for import from India to the United States. This is evident by the United States flags on the wall hanging. The wall hanging might also be used as a table or couch cover. The other piece is a pillow cover.

The pillow cover measures 16 inches by 15 inches. The wall hanging measures 39 inches by 22 inches. The embroidery work on these is extraordinarily gorgeous, all done with metallic thread in the passementerie style. We are not sure of the age of these beautiful velvet pieces, so we are saying that they are from the 1960s but we believe them to be much older.
