This was a popular print in the 1950s, but this smaller version was not as prevalent. Found in an estate, we believe this frame to be chalk, but without ruining it, we can't tell for sure.
The piece has the original backing. On that backing is the number 17 and the word, "chiro" - a colloquial meaning "poor boy".
The entire piece measures 5-3/4 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
