Wouldn't anyone just love to receive a gift in this delightfully old-fashioned ornamental egg box. The hand-made papier mâché egg box is lined in delicately illustrated paper (paper may vary). The edges are lined with paper tape to finish the inside nicely, but also to ensure that the two sides of the container fit snugly together.
These are simple to decorate with paint and glitter or foil. We especially like to use candy-maker's foil because it is so fine that it covers the box easily with just about any glue! The box measures about 4 inches inches at it's longest point.
Although originally designed for Easter, you can certainly decorate it for any season, using Victorian Scraps and Dresdens, mica glitter or paint!
