These are simple to decorate with paint and glitter, flocking, fur or foil. We especially like to use red candy-maker's foil because it is so fine that it makes the boot look quite realistic (for shiny red snow boots anyway)!
Boot containers such as these became quite popular in the 1920s and 1930s, decorated with Victorian scraps and Dresden trimmings. Add a hanging loop at the back of the boot and display it on your Christmas Tree!
These boots are no longer produced by the German company that had made them for decades. The company is no longer able to procure the appropriate materials to manufacture these.
