Monet Artistamps/Faux Postes

Claude Monet was a leading figure in the late 19th century movement called Impressionism. His paintings captured scenes of middle class life and the transitioning qualities of sunlight. He applied bright, unmixed colors in quick, short strokes - almost defining Impressionism. His original canvases could be massive - starting another more modern trend.

This set of six (6) artistamps are of paintings held at the Musée Marmottan in Paris. The images of paintings included in this set of artistamps are:

Presented in 5 by 6 inches sheets of 6 stamps each, with water-activated adhesive in the fashion of traditional postage. Each Artistamp is approximately 1-9/16 by 2 inches.
