Myrrh incense has been used for over 5,000 years! and is part of Christmas tradition, as one of the original gifts of the Three Kings.
We're offering a box of 24 medium sized cones of myrrh incense.
The cone sits like a pyramid on the wide base. Be sure to use a fireproof base, like an incense burner or traditional smoker. Light the top tip of the cone with a match or lighter. They will glow and smoke with a wonderful scent.
If you use a smoker be sure that it is a minimum 18cm (a little over 7 inches). An incense burner should be at least 7.5cm (3 inches) in diameter. The fragrant scent is derived from crystallized myrrh resin and has been formed into modern incense cones for convenience.
In ancient times, crystalized myrrh was believed to be of medicinal value. However, in today's world it is best to use it as an incense only.
Famous for being a gift presented by the Magi to the baby Jesus, myrrh is often mixed with frankincense (not included) for a traditional religious scent.
