The beloved Mother of the Americas, Our Lady of Guadalupe has long been hallowed by many as a perpetual joy.
She appeared as an apparition to Juan Diego in 1531 on December 12 (now her Feast Day). The Basilica on Tepeyac in Mexico is the most visited Catholic pilgrimage site in the world. Many non-Catholics know her as a peaceful spirit.
This small and lovely prayer card features her traditional image with Juan Diego. On the inside there are 2 messages from Our Lady, as well as a prayer on the back. A soft elastic band holds a tiny colorful medal banded by silver. You may choose to remove this little charm and add it to a bracelet or other keepsake.
The rounded corner card measures 3-1/4 inches high by 2-1/8 inches wide. The little medal measures about 1/2 inch (including the hanging hole) by 3/8 inch wide.
