You'll be amazed at the professional creases you get every time when you use this very special cloth when you're ironing.
It is a must for trousers, uniforms, of course. But we really love it for pleating ribbon and other passementerie.
The heat and steam of your iron releases the safe chemicals that set sharp creases. They are permanent in 50/50 polyester/cotton blends and in 100% polyester fabrics. The chemicals will not harm your fabric or ribbon. But, we do suggest that you test any very expensive or vintage piece in an unassuming place before pressing the entire piece. Some fabric dyes may discolor the cloth, but this will not impair it's efficiency.
This may appear to be expensive for a pressing cloth when you can buy a protecting pressing cloth in a dollar store, but this is quite different and so wonderful for true old-fashioned pressing of sharp pleats and hems.
Even more amazing is the cloth's ability to help you un-pleat and un-hem a very sturdy pressing.
Wash in cold water when necessary and use it up to 1,000 times! Amazing, indeed!
