Mary Magdalene is now revered as a Saint, however, she was not always. She represents women's ministries and is the patron against temptation, sexual and otherwise. There are many stories and legends representing Mary Magdalene. Many of the stories differ from country to country.
She is also the patron of hair stylists, perfumers and druggists.
What is known is her devotion to Jesus and her ministry to spread the word after Jesus' death.
