Saint Michael the Archangel is known as the leader of the army of God during the Lucifer (the Devil) uprising. Devotion to the Archangel is common to Christians, Muslims and Jews alike and there are writings about him in all three cultures. He has been credited with leading the protection against the Anti-Christ, or the devil.
Saint Michael is commonly represented with his wings in full view with sword in hand while crushing Lucifer with the heal of his left foot.

Saint Michael the Archangel, Defend us in the day of battle
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
