Step back in time with a genuine piece of musical history.

Own a tiny piece of musical history with an individual vintage black piano key (sharp/flat), salvaged from a "way old" piano that stood for generations right here (it was waiting here when we arrived in 2006!) before being carefully dismantled.

These keys are beautifully crafted from an incredibly lightweight natural wood. The tops and three exposed sides are finished in a smooth, black ebonized lacquer or enamel, while the bottoms remain raw, showing the warm, natural wood grain and the original pre-drilled pin hole.

Each key features a gracefully slanted front face designed for comfort and ease of play, along with subtle scuffs and gentle wear on the black finish—proof of a well-loved instrument that was played often.

Because we have a small collection of these, the key you receive will have its own unique, authentic character, finish rubs, and variations in the raw wood underside, reflecting its individual history.
