This Asian ceremonial lightweight paper is used in rituals and celebrations to ensure that we don't dwell too much on monetary pursuits. The papers are burned or torn, representing the riches of this world. Because of this, joss paper is also known as Spirit Paper.
Each scalloped circle sheet of this yellow ceremonial paper is printed in the traditional manner in auspicious red ink with a variety of words, patterns and some symbols. The printing on most is off center. We are not sure if this is purposeful or not.
Each package contains 5 patterned Joss or Spirit Papers, measuring approximately 4-3/4 inches in diameter.
