Shoe buttons or boot buttons were the norm in the Victorian era - when shoes were all laced or pulled through a button hole to close!
This set of 5 shoe buttons will vary in color and size. The largest ones (for men's shoes) are about 1/2 inch in diameter and the smallest ones (for children's shoes) are between 3/16 to 1/4 inch in diameter. Some are a bit smaller or larger and there are all sizes in between. All of them feature rear shanks, making them perfect for use as regular buttons or jewelry components.
Create your own Victorian shoes. Or, use these as closures for bracelets or necklaces or even your journal. String a bunch together to make a special embellishment, bracelet or what have you?
The photos are representatives of the mix you might receive. Each grab bag is different.
