St Expedito Medal

Alternately known as St Expedito (St Espedito), St Expeditus, St Expeditius, this patron is probably legendary. He is often pictured holding a cross and a banner reading hodie (meaning today in Latin), while stepping on a crow, which is shouting cras (tomorrow).

His name is mentioned amongst a group of 18th and 19th century martyrs, but there is no true evidence that he really walked this earth. Despite this lack of substantiation, he retains many devotees and is considered the patron of those who must deliver on time, against procrastination and, newly for e-commerce and other computer communications.
