Sterling Silver Polynesian or Hawaiian Child with Pineapple Pendant

This lovely framed pendant features the image of a Polynesian or possibly Hawaiian child smiling and proudly holding a Pineapple. The image is older but the pendant is not.

The sepia-tone image conjures dreams of sailing ships and simpler times, with a palm or coconut tree behind the child who appears to be in traditional garb.

The pendant was sold to us as sterling silver, but is not marked as such.

It measures, including the bail, 1-1/2 inch high by 3/4 inch wide. The back is solid metal.

The image is under glass, and is water resistant, but not waterproof, so please be careful when wearing and cleaning.
