Subtitled, "A Collection of Human Interest Tales about the Antiques, the Heirlooms and the Memories of One of America's Fine Old Inns."

The only blemish that we have found in this book is on the very first page, as seen in our second image. To the right of the stagecoach image on the bottom of the page is a blemish of unknown origin. This mark has caused a slightly tacky spot on the preceding tissue page. Gentle pressure can separate the two pages but do be careful.

The pages of this book are a thick, high quality linen paper. Another sign of this pamphlet being high quality are the sheer tissue pages inside of the covers.

There is no copyright date listed inside the book. We have seen another copy of this book with a handwritten inscription of purchased in 1965. So, we believe this book to be well over 50 years old.

Built in the early 1800s in response the Philadelphia-Pittsburgh turnpike which a large volume of stagecoach traffic, Amity Hall was dubbed, the Friendly Inn.

Alas, the historic inn was destroyed in a fire caused by amateur ghost hunters looking into the validity of Amity Hall being haunted.
