The colors of these delightful scraps of children are superb - bright and cheerful. The children appear to be French, but we know that the scraps were produced in Germany in the 1890s! Each clown measures about 2-1/4 inches high by 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide. We love their rosy cheeks and dark pink lips. These would make great tops for vintage style ornaments that would work anytime of year.
Because these are so rare (from the late 19th century), please be very careful when using them. You'll love the wonderful chromolithographed colors and the nice embossing and expert die-cutting!
