Despite the matte finish to the bracelet, the chunky curb linked chain seems to have a bright natural sheen that comes from the copper plating.

The extra special part of this bracelet is its closure. It has old style sister hook, which is sadly rather uncommon in recent years. With the sister hook, you have two pieces that simply are pulled apart and pushed back together to open and close (almost into a heart). But that's not the best part! If the clasp ever becomes loose, all you need to do is simply open it up and bend the two pieces toward each other again. Voilà! You have just repaired your own jewelry. You'll find that sister hooks themselves are quite pricey, even when made of copper plated metal/ So this is truly special.

We understand that the bracelet was produced in either the late 1960s or early 1970s.

The bracelet measures about 8 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.
